About Us

Nature to Table

Chris Ghobrial
Executive Chef & Owner

 

A native of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Bedford, Virginia, Chris holds two degrees in Culinary Arts and Culinary Nutrition & Food Sciences from Johnson and Wales University and has worked for Milwaukee-based Bartolotta Restaurant Group and Surg Restaurant Group. In December of 2019, he was named Chef and General Manager of Coco’s Seafood & Steakhouse. 

Chef Chris has quickly become one of Oconomowoc’s top chefs and restaurateurs. Under Chris's leadership at Coco's they were nominated in 6 categories in the Shepherd Express’s popular “Best of Milwaukee 2021”; including Best Gourmet Restaurant, Best Restaurant Service, Best Seafood Restaurant, Best Steakhouse, Best Wine List and Best Chef. The also took nominations by the Journal Sentinel for Best Seafood Restaurant 2022. 

At a young age, Chris could be found in the kitchen on Sunday evenings cooking meals with his grandfather, whom was a Chef in New York City.

Annie Ghobrial
Executive Pastry Chef & Owner

​

Annie Ghobrial grew up in Milwaukee. She studied at Drake University and abroad.  Her passion of pastry led her to pursue her degree in Baking and Pastry Arts from Johnson and Wales University in Charlotte, N.C.

Annie spent most of her time at Lake Park Bistro, where she honed her skills creating French classical desserts and pastries.  She spent time with Fiddleheads and Outpost foods overseeing the bakery departments.

In 2020, Annie became the Executive Pastry Chef at Coco's Seafood & Steakhouse.

She quickly has become known across lake country for her gourmet sweet treats.

Annie gets her passion for baking from her grandmother, baking many family recipes with her at a young age.
